The TCBBx2 / TCBTx2 contra-rotating axial fan range is designed for high-efficiency airflow and enhanced pressure performance in demanding ventilation systems. Each fan is fitted with aluminium impellers and a pre-wired external junction box positioned on the outside of the casing for straightforward installation and maintenance. The contra-rotating design delivers improved airflow efficiency and higher pressure capability compared to standard axial fans, making them suitable for ducted applications where performance is critical.
The range is available with single-phase or three-phase motors, offering 2, 4, or 6 pole options depending on model size. Smaller models (250–400ø) use external rotor motors with IP54 protection, Class F insulation, and integrated thermal protection, suitable for operating temperatures from -40°C to +40°C. Larger models (450–710ø) feature IP65 motors with Class F insulation and thermal protection, with an extended operating range up to -40°C to +70°C.
